goals:check in

Checking in on those goals I made on Friday night...

Make it to a gym class - I didn't get to this. Though I did go for an hour long walk yesterday and spent an hour on the bike tonight.

Play with glitter - done! I really was just playing. Inspired by this and this. I stamped using PVA glue instead of ink then sprinkled the glitter over and left to dry before tapping off the excess. I cleaned my stamps straight away with baby wipes but I can't tell you whether PVA will ruin your stamps or not. Try at your own risk. Stamps from Kikki-k. Also found these glittered vases on Pinterest to try soon. Hot pink glitter is a must. Love this look.

Bake something - done! Tuna macaroni bake. Recipe from Reader Digest's recipe book. Essentially 250g cooked macaroni pasta, a can of tuna, bechamel sauce mixed together and coated with grated cheese and breadcrumbs. I added veges (peas, corn, broccoli) and it was enough for dinner for last night, tonight and tomorrow. Taking photos of food is not my forte.

Spend an hour reading - done! B found me reading "The NOW Habit" and promptly told me I didn't need a book telling me about procrastination, I was already very good at it! Thanks, dear. I don't think that's the point.

Go outside - intentionally and for longer than five minutes - done! Yesterday and today. It was good to be outside. However even with the several layers of sunscreen I think I might be a bit burnt from today. I just can't win. The sun and I are not good friends.

Complete day four of my USA album that's sitting on my desk in pieces - done! This was the first thing I did yesterday when I got back from my walk. It took me two minutes to get out the sewing machine and less than 15minutes to pull everything together and slip them into the pockets. We R Memory Keeper page protectors, Project Life Clementine and Cobalt, Studio Calico Memoir 6x6 paper pack and any receipts, wrappers, brochures and tags collected along the way. I can't believe it had been sitting there for two weeks!

day seventeen:have a productive yet relaxing weekend
