sometimes:timeout

So much for getting back into the whole creative thing this week. Last Thursday one of the girls at work shared a nice cold/flu type thing with half our team and it's really knocked me around. I've been sleeping solidly at night then fitting in another 2 or 3 hours sleep around lunchtime. I have a feeling that this routine is going to be rudely interrupted tomorrow when I attempt to stay at work all day. But until then, it's serving me well. The downside is, I'm still exhausted and this doesn't lend itself to achieving anything - house cleaning, scrapbooking, washing, photo taking, etc etc. However, I've embraced that (the house cleaning more than anything else) and am taking the time I need to recover instead, no matter how frustrating that may be.
